Keeping up a hectic pace through the end of the year, members of the Escalon Senior Fun Bunch have a few more activities scheduled.
Coming up on Saturday, Dec. 13, members will be going out Christmas caroling, meeting at the Escalon Presbyterian Church on First Street at 2:15 p.m.
They will be singing Christmas carols for the community from 2:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.; contact Cindy for more information at 209-401-8295.
For their regular monthly gathering, hosted the third Wednesday of each month at the Escalon Community Center, the Dec. 17 event will have a Winter Wonderland theme. Hours for the gathering are 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and the afternoon will feature entertainment provided by Pastor Victor Berg-Haglund on piano along with the Escalon Senior Fun Bunch Singers.
Those planning to attend on Dec. 17 are also asked to bring canned goods or other non-perishable foods to be donated to the local C.A.R.E. Center food pantry.
The Escalon Senior Fun Bunch Boutique will be set up for the event, to allow for some holiday shopping. Those with items to donate to the boutique are asked to bring them into the Community Center, complete with a price tag, by 1 p.m. on Dec. 17.
Finally, several members of the Fun Bunch are making plans to ride along for the Escalon eTrans Holiday Tour D’Lights, which will be offered on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 19 and 20. This is the local bus service’s holiday light tour around the community.
