It was a very successful couple of evenings for the Escalon eTrans annual holiday light tour, offering free rides on the transit buses for a roughly hour-long tour of some of the best decorated and lit up homes in the city for the Christmas season. Trips were hosted both Friday and Saturday evenings, Dec. 19 and 20, with several dozen residents taking advantage of the free tour. Transit coordinator John Andoh said it’s a great way to see the holiday lights and decorations around the community in a relaxed atmosphere, sitting back to enjoy the ride.
