MONDAY, OCT. 12

12:16 a.m. – Pedestrian stop, McHenry and Walnut; checks OK.

3:04 a.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, 1600 block Mitchell.

6:42 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, possible prowler in the 1500 block of Brayton.

7:49 a.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 20000 block of Seidner; checks OK, child playing with phone.

 

SUNDAY, OCT. 11

1:12 a.m. – Security check downtown; no problems noted.

8:15 p.m. – Possible intoxicated driver reported, northbound on McHenry; report taken.

 

SATURDAY, OCT. 10

1:02 a.m. – Security check in the 1700 block of Main; no problems noted.

10:32 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, possible scam call in the 2400 block of Mission.

3:27 p.m. – Petty theft complaint, 1700 block Jill.

4:45 p.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1600 block Third; log note only.

6:26 p.m. – Officers patrolling the area of Escalon Avenue and Highway 120 observed a subject know to them as having a warrant. Officers made contact with the woman and during a pat down search, discovered a controlled substance and paraphernalia in her possession. The 41-year-old Modesto woman was subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and for the warrant counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, no proof of financial responsibility and expired registration. She was cited and released.

9:36 p.m. – Suspicious subject seen in the area, 1700 block Baker.

9:47 p.m. – Shots fired report, First and Carignane; unable to locate.

 

FRIDAY, OCT. 9

7:31 a.m. – Extra patrol in the 1500 block of Yosemite.

1:23 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, Kern and Highway 120, report of loud music in the area; unable to locate anything.

1:28 p.m. – Be on the lookout issued from Oakdale Police Department for stolen vehicle, taken and reportedly enroute to Escalon; unable to locate.

2:41 p.m. – Reckless driving complaint, Highway 120 and Van Allen.

3:34 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance; possible counterfeit bill passed in the 1200 block of Lillian.

7:50 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, loud music, 1800 block Coley.

8:14 p.m. – Officers were dispatched to verbal dispute in the 2200 block of Arroya, made contact with the person responsible for the disturbance and discovered the man had a misdemeanor no bail warrant for possession of paraphernalia. The officers conducted a search and located a controlled substance and paraphernalia in his possession. The 28-yer-old man was booked at San Joaquin County Jail.

8:17 p.m. – Assist outside agency, subject reported sitting on the bridge and McHenry and River; aid to San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Department, also responding to scene.

 

THURSDAY, OCT. 8

7:46 a.m. – Public Works call out for water leak, 2200 block Main.

8:36 a.m. – Lost property report, purse, filed with police; later located in area where lost.

3:13 p.m. – Non-injury vehicle accident, Stanislaus and St. Clair; assisted.

7:57 p.m. – Security check at Hogan Park; area secure.

9:09 p.m. – Suspicious subject reported in the area, Campbell and Highway 120.

10:30 p.m. – Bike stop in the area of San Joaquin and Yosemite; warned.

11:24 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, 1500 block Main, possible dispute; checks OK.

 

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 7

4 a.m. – Business alarm sounding, 1900 block McHenry, window broken at business, nothing appeared taken; subject gone on arrival.

9:18 a.m. – Extra patrol request due to speeding driver in the area, 800 block California.

12:22 p.m. – 9-1-1 hang-up from the 1500 block of Crestwood; checks secure, child playing with phone.

3:03 p.m. – Disturbing the peace complaint, verbal dispute in the area of Catherine and Swanson.

6:54 p.m. – Non-emergency 9-1-1 call, child playing with phone in the 1400 block of Briarwood.
