The Business of the Month honors for October presented by the Escalon Chamber of Commerce went to The Shop, at 1834 Main St., where a mixer was hosted on Wednesday evening, Oct. 22. Chamber Membership and Events Ambassador Miranda Powers was on hand and presented the certificate of appreciation to Shop owner Diana Scott. The Shop is a host site for a variety of gatherings and the mixer featured some beverages, sweets and individual charcuterie cups. The Shop’s motto is “There’s always something to celebrate” and it is a popular downtown destination for those special celebrations.
