The traditional early November fundraising breakfast hosted by Escalon 4-H drew a good crowd to Van Allen Elementary School on Saturday, Nov. 8. Pancakes, eggs, ham, linguica and biscuits and gravy were all on the menu, along with cold and hot beverages. Overseeing the pancake preparation was Bret Silva while, inside the school, diner Daniella Nowling was among the attendees sitting down to eat as 4-H member, nine-year-old Anthony Roche, delivered her breakfast. There were also several items available in opportunity drawings, with the event running from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
