Second Harvest of the Greater Valley invites the community to support the Annual Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Manteca Transit Center. Guests will enjoy an evening of prizes, raffles, live music, photo ops, and a variety of chili offerings, all while making an impact.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Second Harvest of the Greater Valley’s food assistance programs, including the Summer Meal Program, which provides over 60,000 meals to children in need across San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties.

As the need for food assistance continues to rise, fundraisers like the chili cook-off help provide support to individuals and families in local communities.

“This event is a great way to bring the community together for an evening of great food and entertainment while making an impact,” said Jennifer Mora, Director of Development and Communications at Second Harvest of the Greater Valley. “Whether you’re attending, competing, or sponsoring, your support helps make a difference.”

Businesses and organizations are encouraged to get involved through sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorship benefits include brand recognition, promotional exposure, and event perks such as signage, digital advertising, and complimentary tickets. Every contribution directly supports food distribution programs that provide meals to our neighbors in need throughout San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties.

All are invited to come for the chili, stay for the cause – to support, give back, and help make a difference.
