This double rainbow was captured recently in Escalon, at the end of North Street, looking toward the solar panels – seen at right – on the property of Dent Elementary School. The region received well over two inches of rainfall during the past week, though the sun broke through on this particular afternoon to create the colorful scene. After several rainy days, forecasters are now calling for a mix of clouds and sunshine beginning Thursday, Feb. 8 and running at least through Valentine's Day.
