Shenan 'Shannon' David Silveira, 41, passed away on Monday, Sept. 3 in Modesto.

Born on October 29, 1965 in Tempe, Arizona, he was a resident of the Ripon-Escalon area. He was a loving husband, devoted father and son who loved to golf and was very active with the Escalon Outlaws. He was also very proud of his Portuguese heritage. Survivors include his wife, Dione Silveira; children, Megan Michelle Silveira, 18, Shane David Silveira, 13 and Drake Austin Silveira, 10, all of the Ripon-Escalon area; his mother, Bernice Silveira; siblings, Debbie McAlpin (Kevin) of Lodi, Joe Perriera (Michele) of Modesto, Tammy Langston (Tom) of San Clemente, Anthony Silveira II (Carrie) of Casper, Wyoming and Michelle Serrado of Modesto. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Silveira.Services were Monday, Sept. 10 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Modesto. Memorial contributions may be sent to: Bank of the West, 1633 First St., Escalon, CA 95320; payable to Megan M. Silveira. Arrangements by Deegan Funeral Chapel, Escalon.
