Joseph Longstreet

Joseph Longstreet, 76, of Farmington passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson due to cancer. He was a resident of Farmington for the last 34 years.

Mr. Longstreet was a carpenter in California for over 30 years. He loved to read, hunt, fish and golf. He was a veteran of the Navy, serving during the Korean Action.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Millie; their son Steven Longstreet of Tucson, Arizona; his sister-in-law and brothers-in-law from Phoenix, Arizona, Beverly Witter, Dave Witter, Harold Hilderbrand, Lionel Varvel and Frank Varvel; and many nieces and nephews. Per his request, there will not be a service.

Memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA 95356 c/o Alexander Cohen Hospice House. Arrangements by Deegan Funeral Chapel, Escalon.
