Irma Biedermann Roth, 86, passed away after a long illness on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007 at the Hospice House in Stockton.

She was born on October 31, 1920 in South Dakota to Ewalo and Alma Fischer. She was a resident of Manteca/Escalon for 40 years. She was a retired federal employee having worked as a shipping clerk for Tracy Defense Depot and Douglas Aircraft.

She enjoyed life and enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include her children, Alan and his wife Becky Biedermann of Escalon, and Diane and her husband Bill Coleman of Escalon; grandchildren Brian and KC Biedermann of Stockton, Ryan Biedermann of Escalon, Scott and Alica Biedermann of Manteca, Jeff Webber and Ron Hensen of Sacramento and Michael and Dawna Webber of Modesto; great grandchildren Kaylee Biedermann, Madison Biedermann, Connor Webber Hensen, Brody Biedermann, Brittany Webber and Nicole Webber; her siblings, Beverly Berkner of Minnesota, Milton Fischer, Alma Buttke and Rev. Arnold Fischer, all of South Dakota.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 19 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel, Escalon. Her service will be on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin Street in Escalon, with burial following at Burwood Cemetery, 28320 East River Road, Escalon.
