Evening Garden Party Draws Vendors, Guests
When asked what an evening in the garden might mean, a person might imagine a stroll through the vegetable patch in the afternoon, or spending a few hours harvesting the tomato patches. What the Evening in the Garden is for Lorina's Edible Garden was obviously quite different as customers and interested connoisseurs filed in to 17397 Enterprise Road, on the outskirts of Escalon on Friday evening.

Lorina's Edible Garden, operated by Lorina Cajias and family, is a business specializing in the production of personally grown herbs, vegetable plants, and of course, supplies and tools for a personal edible garden.

Including her own fabulous display of the gardens and greenhouse, Cajias had invited several other vendors to showcase their merchandise during this evening event.

Shop 'Til You Drop, a coalition of several different types of female-owned businesses, was the source of the vendor supply during the Evening in the Garden. Ladies from businesses such as the Honey Bodyshop, Home and Garden Party, and Two Sisters Gourmet were manning their booths to the interest of passing guests.

The members of Shop 'Til You Drop are also frequent visitors of the Escalon Market on Main, which is offered every Thursday in the city's Main Street Park. In addition to being frequent supporters of each other, these ladies happen to be close, personal friends.
